We spend a lot of time talking about training and food. Sleep quietly determines how well either of them works – and it's usually the first thing to be sacrificed.
“If you're choosing between a 5:30am session on five hours' sleep and a 6pm session on eight, take the eight.”
Ignore the gadget rabbit hole for a moment. Four unglamorous things account for most of the improvement people see.
An evening class won't wreck your sleep, but the routine around it might. Eat properly beforehand, keep the post-session scroll short, and give yourself thirty minutes of dim light before bed. The session is worth keeping – protect the wind-down instead.
Seven to nine hours, most nights, at roughly the same time. That's it. It's the highest-return change most of our members ever make, and it costs nothing.
